Baker's Floor and Surface is seeking an exceptional and seasoned Sales Executive to contribute to our ambitious growth initiatives within the construction industry. We are looking for a highly experienced sales professional who brings experience, an extensive network, and proven success in cultivating enduring relationships. As a Vice President of Sales, you will be a hands-on driving force in advancing our mission to transform spaces and exceed client expectations.
As a Vice President of Sales at Baker's, you will be driving business development and client engagement for your business across diverse industries and verticals. This is a senior individual contributor role responsible for growing a book of business, bringing aptitude and proven success in networking, prospecting, and relationship-building.

Your adept communication and strategic problem-solving skills ensure both client satisfaction and seamless internal collaboration. Thriving in dynamic environments, you effortlessly balance exceptional customer service with unique contributions to our organization's growth.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Leverage industry connections and active engagement within trade associations like IFMA, BOMA, or IIDA to expand your network.
- Collaborate seamlessly with operational teams to ensure project execution, from inception to completion.
- Foster enduring, trust-driven relationships with clients, fostering loyalty and sustained partnerships.
- Maintain a finger on the pulse of your ongoing projects, securing bids and current specifications to drive project acquisition.
- Spearhead customer events and engagement initiatives to continue to build client relationships and amplify brand recognition.
- Identify and capitalize on upselling opportunities with existing clients to maximize revenue potential.
- Innovate and turn obstacles into opportunities.
- Architect and execute on a comprehensive sales strategy that propels your book of business.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Exceptional communication skills across all tiers of the business landscape.
- Industry Proficiency with an understanding of flooring products
- Inherently motivated, moving with urgency, adaptability, and a commitment to success.
- Minimum of 7+ years in commercial sales. Specializing in the construction and flooring industry or relevant verticals.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, takeoffs, and CRM software usage, ensuring precision in project comprehension.
- A creative problem solver, adept at transforming obstacles into solutions.
- Seasoned and successful negotiation skills.
- An expansive network of clients across verticals such as Education, HOA, Hospitals, etc., adding a distinguished layer to your experience.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multifaceted projects with meticulous attention to detail.

Compensation: $270,000 -$560,000 per year, consisting of base salary and commission.
