Vice President of Construction

** Must have Expertise in Structural Steel Installation **

Sentoria’s client, a steel fabrication and construction company, is hiring a Vice President to oversee multiple commercial projects and project managers. This company is involved in the installation of steel structures which includes: stairs, railings, carports, towers, bridges, fencing and miscellaneous metal structures. Project Managers will report to this position.

Requirements:

· 5+ years of field supervision and experience managing project managers is essential.

· Structural Steel installation experience is required with multi family/unit construction expertise.

**PROCORE experience is highly desired. Monthly Car allowance and fuel card is supplied.

The role of the VP consists of organizing and supervising Project Managers with Foremen, Field Crews and Subcontractors. The VP is responsible for supervising the project managers with managing the shipment of the products, equipment, and tools necessary to perform all field operations on the projects assigned to achieve timely and profitable completion of each project.

This position will act as a liaison with other departments to ensure all required materials, equipment and inspections support the project schedule, while correcting any discrepancies which may arise. This position will also interact with clients. The VP will also oversee and is responsible for construction safety, quality, and progress on all projects.

There will be supervision of Project Managers in all activities associated with the construction of all assigned projects. This may include managing and coordination with a team of Project Superintendents, Project Detailers, Project Administrators, and Fabrication Managers. The VP will manage Project Managers who monitor and deliver projects on time, under budget, to the complete satisfaction of the clients and in accordance with project drawings, specifications, and other contract documents. The purpose of this position is to supervise project management and implementation of assigned projects including: material expediting, quantity tracking, cost control, scheduling, document control, basic job cost management, subcontract management, and procurement.
