Job Responsibilities:

• Ensures proper data back ups and disaster recovery solution utilizing cloud technologies.
• Oversees the management of hardware and software maintenance, training, consultation, and recommendation for future planning and development of resources.
• Develops the department’s budget, goals and objectives.
• Implements and maintains Enterprise systems (custom and COTS).
• Ability to make decisions that produce high-quality results by applying technical knowledge, analyzing problems, and calculating risks.
• Identifies opportunities for Enterprise application enhancements and works cross functionally to understand end-user needs are being met.
• Designs, develops and implements comprehensive computer-based information systems to ensure users’ needs are met and data is process according to company specifications and requirements.
• Defines the strategic direction of all IT for the enterprise.
• This position has the potential to grow into the Chief Information Officer (CIO).
• Provides direction and leadership to IT development teams.
• Assists with the execution of technology strategy for technology platforms, partnerships, and external relationships.
• Responsible for our organizational information systems (internal and external), software applications (COTS and custom), Enterprise systems (Deltek Costpoint, Taleo and future systems), IT support and infrastructure design.
• Responsible and accountable for directing the information and data integrity of the complete enterprise, its groups for all Information Technology functions of the enterprise applications. This includes all data centers, technical service centers, enterprise applications, production scheduling functions, service desks, communication networks (voice and data), computer program development, and computer systems operations.
• Assess issues regarding information systems and creates manageable solutions
• Researches and makes recommendations on hardware, software purchases.
• Evaluates the effectiveness of systems and offers solutions to enhance effectiveness and meet business needs.
• Ensures integration between various IT platforms.
• Leads IT strategic and operational planning to achieve goals by fostering innovation and prioritizing IT initiatives.
• Experience in managing new implementations and maintaining large enterprise systems.

Minimum Requirements:

• Proven record of success in defining technical vision based on business needs and executing innovative, insightful technical solutions that meet business goals.
• 10 years of managing IT departments for large organizations with geographically dispersed workforce.
• US Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a Government clearance, current clearance preferred.
• 10 years managing 24x7x365 IT environment with >10K end users.
• Demonstrated success creating efficiencies using COTS solutions, automation, cloud or data enabled solutions.
• Experience working for a Federal contracting organization / company.
• Degree in Computer Science/Information Systems or Business Administration with relevant IT work experience.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Preferred experience with Taleo or similar HR recruiting enterprise application.
• Preferred experience in managing and implementing (functions) within Deltek Costpoint and the HR functions.
• Exceptional written, oral, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Preferred experience in upgrading Enterprise applications in HR and Contracts management.
