With a primary focus on sports, our client works closely with organizations worldwide to provide market-leading technology for controlling, distributing, and monetizing photos and videos. Our client has proudly supported over 16,000 sports events, storing, more than 18 million photos, and operating in 100 languages and 44 currencies.
Our client has recently secured a funding round led by Seventy-Six Capital and entered into a strategic partnership with US broadcaster Comcast. As our client continues their global expansion, we're seeking a dynamic, results-driven VP of North America Business Growth to join their Denver-based leadership team.
As the VP of North America Business Growth, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue and expanding company’s presence throughout the United States. Your exceptional sales and business development expertise, combined with a deep understanding of the sports, media, and technology markets, will enable you to identify opportunities and establish strategic partnerships. You will work closely with the executive team, you will develop and execute a comprehensive go-to-market strategy that aligns with companies overall business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders to drive long-term business growth and customer satisfaction.
- Achieve revenue targets by identifying, pursuing, and closing new business opportunities with sports organizations, schools, and other potential partners.
- Develop and implement a results-driven go-to-market strategy for the US market, aligned with companies’ global growth objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, sales, product, marketing, and customer success, to ensure a seamless customer experience and maximize revenue opportunities.
- Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and customer feedback to inform strategic decision-making and identify growth opportunities.
- Communicate effectively with the team and ensure that all team members are aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
- Represent company at industry events, conferences, and forums, demonstrating thought leadership and promoting our value proposition.
Qualifications:
- Strong analytical capabilities and data-driven decision-making mindset
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement successful business strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members.
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, finance, or a related field.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- In-depth knowledge of the sports, media, or technology industries is highly desirable.
- Experience managing budgets and resources effectively.
- A minimum of 12 years of experience in a leadership role, preferably in the tech or sports industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
