Summary

The Vice President of Manufacturing Operations will create and execute the strategic manufacturing plan largest division of the Company to encompass all aspects of manufacturing, maximizing its efficiency and aligning this plan throughout the entire division and plants.


Location

  • Onsite opportunity with company office located outside of Charlotte, NC
  • Ability and willingness to travel throughout North America and overseas on a routine basis
  • Relocation assistance provided


Compensation

Compensation comprised of a highly competitive annual salary + bonus + full benefits


Essential Responsibilities

  • Achieve site inventory targets covering value and turns
  • Build out and develop a high-quality team with succession capability for the future
  • Hit or exceed Profit Improvement Plan Targets (PIP’s)
  • Deliver revenue through manufacturing operations to support corporate targets
  • Earned hours execution and factory variance control
  • Deliver an organization focused on meeting key performance indicators, eliminating roadblocks that impact delivery performance and lead-time
  • Ability to scale global factories to fit the immediate demands of the business
  • Conversion cost as per plan/forecast
  • Minimize entity non-standard costs
  • Futureproof the manufacturing organization through advanced engineering and automation as per the business unit strategies
  • Define, communicate, and execute the 1–3-year strategy for the manufacturing organization
  • Execute to division short, medium, and long-term needs


Required Education, Skills, and Experience

  • Proven track record of leadership and change management
  • Experience managing multiple sites with a global/regional footprint
  • Successful proven track record of manufacturing optimization
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; Master’s degree highly preferred
  • Strong financial acumen
  • Must possess a strategic and globally focused mindset
  • Strong understanding and proven success in implementing lean manufacturing tools
  • 25+ years of progressive, related experience
  • Financial and budgeting experience related to operational metrics within a large-scale business
  • Multiple years of experience in supply chain management, must include site manufacturing experience
