Responsibilities


Are you a skilled HR professional looking for a dynamic opportunity to shape the future of a growing small company. We are seeking a VP of Human Resources to lead our HR department and handle a diverse range of responsibilities, making a significant impact on our team's success. We are owned by doctors and other healthcare professionals. Utilizing AI software, we provide solutions to hospitals, helping them maximize their payor reimbursements. They specialize in recovering denied claims for their clients, recouping over 80% of such claims, which would otherwise be lost forever.


  • Oversee the growth of the HR department, hiring additional HR employees as the company expands.
  • Oversee all aspects of HR, including recruiting for billing analysts, appeals nurses, and technology roles.
  • Collaborate with leadership to align HR strategies with business goals.
  • Evaluate and optimize HR processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and best practices in compliance with regulations.
  • Manage employee relations to ensure a positive work environment and foster employee satisfaction.
  • Drive strategic recruitment initiatives to attract top talent for various positions.
  • Spearhead the creation of a new comprehensive benefit plan and compensation structure.


Requirements


  • Demonstrated leadership skills to build and develop an HR team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with employees at all levels.
  • Strong recruitment background with expertise in sourcing and selecting diverse talent.
  • Experience within healthcare or health & welfare
  • Proven experience in HR management, ideally in a small to medium-sized company.
  • Experience in benefit plan design, compensation analysis, and employee relations.
  • PHR/SPHR or SHRM Certified an important plus
  • Solid knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to align HR initiatives with organizational objectives.
