The Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer is responsible for driving operational excellence across the Human Resources (HR) function and working with the SVP, Chief People and Legal Officer to evolve Rockwell Automation’s talent strategy. We are looking for a skilled human resources executive with a track record of enabling business success through an organization’s most important asset – its people. The CHRO works with HR and other company leaders to design and deliver HR programs that enable and inspire employees to do their best work and ensure we can attract, develop, and retain the talent we need to deliver great customer and business outcomes.
This position reports to the Senior Vice President, Chief People and Legal Officer and is located at our headquarters in Milwaukee, WI.
Responsibilities:
  • Hire and develop great HR talent.
  • Evolve and implement global talent processes and programs that are data-driven and informed by the needs of the business, market trends, and best practices.
  • Develop the HR and talent strategy in alignment with the company’s culture, core values, and business strategy.
  • Oversee and drive operational excellence in all HR functions, including HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, Organizational Talent & Transformation, Internal Communications, Total Rewards, HR Services & Payroll, HR Technology, and HR Analytics & Reporting.
  • Partner with the Chief Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Officer, who also reports to the SVP, Chief People and Legal Officer, to ensure our talent strategy and programs are equitable, inclusive, and aligned with our DEI goals.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of relevant experience.
  • Legal authorization to work in the US is required; we will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in the industrial automation, manufacturing and software industries is highly beneficial.
  • 15+ years of management experience.
  • Deep technical HR expertise and experience overseeing a broad range of HR teams and functions at companies with a global footprint.
  • Lifelong learner who cultivates innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrated success in developing talent and building strong, diverse, and inclusive teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to both perform (operational excellence) and transform HR processes and programs.
  • MBA preferred.
  • Outstanding communication skills with an ability to inspire, engage, and influence diverse groups of stakeholders.
