Responsibilities:

As a Venture Partner, you'll have a unique opportunity to lead the expansion of StartupCrafters in your city/state and contribute to the growth of our innovative ecosystem. Your key activities will include:

Executive:

• Source new deals from your network and local startup ecosystem.
• Conduct due diligence on potential investment opportunities.
• Facilitate investments into promising startups.
• Boost StartupCrafters' brand exposure and extend its influence in your local startup and investor community.
• Serve as an advisor to portfolio startups, providing guidance and mentorship.

Fundraising:

• Raise awareness about StartupCrafters' funds within the investor community.
• Identify potential investors and create a strong fundraising pipeline.
• Work closely with potential investors, providing them with the necessary information and fostering relationships.

Strategic:

• Act as a brand ambassador for StartupCrafters, boosting its credibility within your network.
• Share relevant news and information that can aid StartupCrafters' strategic objectives.
• Leverage your industry knowledge and expertise to advise StartupCrafters on strategic matters.

Operations:

• Assist in day-to-day activities related to the operations of StartupCrafters, which may include marketing, finance, legal, and other back-office support.
• Respond promptly to inquiries and requests from the StartupCrafters team.

Portfolio:

• Support portfolio companies' growth by actively engaging in their management and providing strategic advice.

Compensation:

Similar to other Venture Partnerships, your role will be compensated with carried interest and a percentage of capital raised as a result of your involvement with the fund. Please note that this is not a salaried or full-time position.

• Carried interest and a percentage of capital raised as a result of your introductions or involvement with the fund.
• Revenue share of up to 20% on the invoices raised and paid for the consulting services and ad-hoc packages offered by StartupCrafters.
• Compensation from startup founders for mentorship and advisory time, which is usually a combination of cash and equity.
• Note: This role is not a salaried or full-time position but offers diverse earning opportunities.
