Job Description

A top NYC trading firm is looking for a strong vendor management specialist/content manager to join they growing business.


This person will support the daily responsibilities and operations of the Data Services Group. The analyst will have the following core responsibilities:


  • Sourcing, procuring and analyzing new datasets for potential use in the firm’s trading strategies
  • Building and enhancing the firm’s data library
  • Negotiating contracts for all of the firm’s data assets
  • Communicating key dataset advantages and disadvantages to PMs, researchers and other internal business groups
  • Managing data/research vendor relationships
  • Liaising daily with Compliance and Legal to ensure the firm leverages only data that is in accordance with the firm’s mission and values


REQUIREMENTS

  • 1-5 years of experience in investment research (buy-side, sell-side or research/data provider) preferred. Financial industry experience not required
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree (with strong academic record)


150-220k base + bonus
