Ux Research / Designer Intern

Chera is a food as medicine startup dedicated to eating disorder recovery. Our mission is to enable faster eating disorder recovery sustained by regular eating habits. We provide a comprehensive, personalized meal support system as the foundation for building those eating habits. As a startup, we are looking for individuals who are self-motivated, passionate, and hungry to learn.

We are seeking a talented and ambitious UX Research / Designer Intern to join our startup team. As a UX Designer Intern, you will work closely with our design team to create and improve user experiences across our digital products.

Responsibilities

• Design and iterate user interfaces that align with ussr needs, business objectives, and brand guidelines
• Conduct user research and analyze user feedback to identify user needs and pain points
• Conduct user research interview campaigns and synthesize findings into actionable insights
• Communicate design ideas and concepts effectively to the team and stakeholders
• Work closely with senior designers to create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows that effectively communicate design concepts
• Participate in design reviews

Qualifications

• Knowledge of user-centered design principles and practices
• Background in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
• Experience in design software
• Self-starter with excellent problem solving skills
