Role Description

As a UI/UX Designer at Samooha, you will be responsible for creating intuitive, user-centric designs for our web application. Your primary focus will be to enhance the user experience by understanding user needs, conducting research, and translating findings into visually appealing and functional interfaces. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers and developers, to ensure the successful implementation of your designs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the development team to ensure proper implementation of designs and maintain design consistency throughout the product lifecycle.
• Conduct user research, interviews, and usability testing to gather insights and identify user needs and pain points.
• Create user personas, user flows, wireframes, and prototypes to effectively communicate design concepts and solutions.
• Advocate for the user by continually seeking feedback and conducting usability tests to iterate and improve designs based on user insights.
• Develop visually appealing and intuitive user interface designs that align with user-centered design principles, brand guidelines, and business goals.
• Conduct design reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve the overall quality of design deliverables.
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to define requirements, refine designs, and ensure successful implementation.
• Work effectively in an agile and fast-paced environment, balancing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest UI/UX trends, best practices, and technologies, and actively incorporate them into your work.

Qualifications:

• Familiarity with design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, and InVision
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, information architecture, and interaction design.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
• Knowledge of accessibility and usability best practices
• Strong knowledge of Visual Design, Responsive Web Design, User Experience (UX), Web Design, and Graphic Design
• Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Excellent communication and collaboration with the ability to present and explain design concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, HCI, or a related field and relevant work experience.
• Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and analyzing user feedback.
• Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design projects and highlighting your ability to create visually stunning and user-centered designs.
• Strong problem-solving skills
