Truss Assembler Jobs

JP Hart is seeking Truss Assemblers (day and night shift) to join their team in Austin, TX!
Founded in 1939 by Jimmie Hart, J.P. Hart Lumber, a division of US LBM, is based in San Antonio and operates locations across every major market in Texas to serve construction professionals. Hart’s operations include five building materials yards and one window distribution facility across Austin, Houston, Dallas-Ft. Worth and San Antonio and Hart Components, which operates two roof truss and wall panel manufacturing facilities in Austin and San Antonio.
Wage: $12.80-$19.20 per hour, depending on experience (weekly pay)
How you will spend your days as a Truss Assembler:

• Assist in maintaining a safe and clean work environment while observing all posted safety rules
• Load, unload, store, and package inventory as needed
• Working with a team in a production setting, using hand and power tools to assemble interior door units according to customer orders
• Schedule: Day Shift: 7AM-3:30PM Night Shift: 6PM-4:30AM
• Prep material used in the assembly of wall panels, roof trusses and floor trusses using hand and power tools, air nail guns and other automated equipment as needed
• Pick and pull production material as needed

Truss Assembler Requirements

• Ability to operate equipment such as: staplers, nail guns, routers, variety of saws as well as attention to detail while working in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. on a repetitive basis, occasionally up to 100 lbs. or more
• Woodworking, carpentry, or construction experience
