A Day in the Life

Cardiac Ablation Solutions offers cardiac mapping and ablation technologies to treat patients with abnormal heart rhythms. Our vision is to help patients worldwide by advancing innovation for the diagnosis and ablation of cardiac arrhythmias, enabling clinicians to perform procedures with superior outcomes. We are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on candidate who is excited to make meaningful contributions in our prototype assembly and manufacturing efforts based in our Newton and Billerica, MA offices. In this position, you will be an integral part of a dynamic and growing R&D team.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

• Fabricating catheter assemblies /subassemblies for new products still in development.
• Contribute design and manufacturing process improvement ideas.
• Micro-assembly of mechanical medical device prototypes using a microscope.
• Maintain written assembly records of work.
• Work closely and collaborate with R&D Engineers.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years of experience and may require vocational or technical education or certification in addition to prior work experience.
• Microscope and fine-wire or very small component experience is a must.

Nice to Have

• Keen understanding of shop floor paperwork and record-keeping in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience working with epoxies or adhesives.
• Small mechanical assembly experience, working under a microscope required.
• Medical device experience is a plus.
• Must be team-oriented, flexible, and hard-working.
• Experience fine soldering under microscope of extremely small wires.
• Highly detail-oriented and ability to understand work instructions and complete assembly records in English
