Job Summary

The Arizona Cardinals’ 2023 Training Camp Systems Developer Internship is sponsored by the Football Analytics & Research Department located at the Dignity Health Arizona Cardinals Training Facility in Tempe, AZ. This internship will provide select applicants the opportunity to gain firsthand experience in an NFL environment where the intern will be asked to provide innovative solutions by way of quantitative analysis to the complex situations that Football Operations face on a regular basis. This individual should have a strong initiative to learn, grow, and possess the ability to incorporate creative approaches to problem-solving. Successful candidates will be able to thrive and immerse themselves in the fast-paced nature that this space demands.

Primary Job Duties

The Training Camp Systems Developer Intern position will have daily responsibilities including, without limitation, the following:

• Collaborate with other developers and end users in troubleshooting and solving new issues
• Maintain web applications for internal football departments
• Produce support and bug fixes for applications
• Participate in design and code reviews
• Understand requirements, implement designs, and produce documentation

Qualifications/Requirements

• Ability to work program duration from July 11, 2023 to August 20, 2023; hours may vary depending on business needs
• Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, data engineering, web development, or other related fields or currently enrolled in an educational program focused on the specified areas listed
• Basic knowledge and concepts of HTML, JavaScript, CSS, JSON, SQL R, Python, C#, VB.NET or other programming languages required
