Job Description
Sidewinders Advance is seeking TIG WELDERS for a long term project in FRANKLIN, OH!
Schedule
  • Monday - Thursday 4:30 pm - 3:00 am
  • Will Train on 1st shift working 6:00 am - 4:30 pm Overtime on Friday's 6:00a - 12:00 pm
  • Overtime possible daily and Sundays
Roles For TIG WELDERS
  • Ability to select and identify the proper materials, including weld wire selection, needed to weld components.
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Prepares materials for welding; cuts, grinds and cleans metal. Utilizes fabrication skills to complete all phases of fabrication.
  • Willing to learn
  • Self-starter
  • Good work ethic
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Good attendance
  • Must be able to work from complex and detailed blueprints and/or verbal and written instructions with minimal supervision.
  • Aerospace Industry experience preferred
  • TIG welding stainless steel and Inconel sheets 0.035 inch to 0.25 inch thick together to fabricate aerospace parts to customer specification.
  • Must have Inconel experience
Physical Requirements For TIG WELDERS
  • Extended hours required during peak workloads or special projects.
  • Perform repetitious duties, such as hammering a part to specification.
  • Able to successfully pass vision screens
  • Able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and sit for long periods of time on a daily basis
  • Able to bend, twist, turn, carry, walk, sit, stoop, kneel, etc
Eligibility Requirements
  • This role is restricted to U.S. persons (i.e., U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and other protected individuals under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)) due to access to export-controlled technology.
  • Must pass criminal background check and drug screening!
