Hoffmann is seeking experienced Welders/Fabricators.

Must pass a pre-employment drug test.

Must pass a basic weld test.

Visualize three-dimensional figures from looking at separate one dimensional drawings.

Knowledge and experience completing welds that pass visual before being X-rayed or dye penned

2+ years of experience with TIG welding

Experience with aerospace TIG welding

Certification with AWS D17.1 and D1.2

Experience with overhead cranes and forklifts

Weld, assemble, and fabricate various fluid systems and various sub-assembly components

Minimum of 1 year of welding and/or machining experience required.

Experience with Electron Beam Welding and TIG Welding with close tolerances

Experience in machining with close tolerances

Assemble, setup & maintain tooling

Operate heat treat and furnace brazing equipment

High School Diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution required

Will be required to always wear specified proper safety equipment.

Must be willing to learn and work in multiple locations on the assembly line when needed.

Nightshift Hours: 4pm – 2:30am, Monday – Thursday

Team Player: Works well as a member of a group

Perform specific welding duties as required for trailer assembly.

Must pass a welding test administered on site during your interview visit.

Experience with using mechanical tools

Manufacturing experience to ISO and AS9100 preferred.

Weld/Fuse light gauge aluminum, stainless, steel for sheet metal fabrication

Adhere to safety and quality standards set forth by FMS, Inc.

Read and comply with customer and/or FMS drawings

Help facilitate the flow of materials, components and paperwork among and within the department to fulfill production schedules

Offer viable semi-annual process improvement initiatives

Successful completion of accredited welding course or equivalent on the job training and 5-10 years high level TIG welding experience

Ability to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time while performing job duties

Entry Level to Senior Level Experience!

The proper fabrication and welding of customer parts and assemblies as requested

High Variety, low volume part work

Reading and interpreting blueprint drawings and dimension styles

Preparing weld surfaces as required

Setting up correct welder settings

Welding according to appropriate codes and procedures

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

At least 2 years of welding experience (Carbon, Stainless, Galvanneal, and Aluminum)

Position requirements are listed below:

First Shift, Monday-Friday typically 7:30am to 4:00pm or 6:30am to 5:00pm

Manufacturing background is a plus

Must be able to read a tape measure accurately down to 1/16. (Will be tested)

Familiar with hand and air tools

Minimum of 1 year experience in manufacturing or related field

Ability to read a tape measure accurately

Familiar with MIG welding and the necessary measures needed to complete good welds

Familiar with basic metalworking tools

Be able to hand MIG weld, run MIG weld-around, and MIG double end welder

May involve Lifting, standing, walking, sitting, climbing, bending

Knowledge of fabrication drawings and AWS welding symbols.

Must have 2 years of trade schooling or equivalent work experience in the welding trade

All applicants will be expected to pass relevant testing procedures for qualification records

Should have own tools and personal equipment.

Willing to work shift work. Days and Afternoons.

Overtime and weekends are required at times.

· Regular attendance at work and the ability to work flexible hours, including overtime, weekends, and holidays.

· Review layouts, blueprints, diagrams, or work orders in preparation for welding or cutting metal components.

· Complete welds to the specified standards using appropriate equipment and materials.

· Install and verify operation of high-pressure steel pipes and fittings.

· Set up equipment and weld parts, using arc, gas-shielded arc, submerged arc, or gas welding equipment.

· Work with minimal supervision.

5 year minimum welding experience

Must be able to read architectural drawings

We are seeking metal fabricators and welders of all types.

Continue to drive the LEAN knowledge and use the tools to identify and assist with continuous improvement.

Use a variety of hand and power tools following appropriate methods and procedures to complete finished products.

Use hand-welding to weld or join metal components of fabricated metal products.

Inspect parts and products as necessary according to established guidelines and quality standards.

Maintain a clean and organized work area and maintain all equipment according to established guidelines and quality standards.

Practice problem solving and troubleshooting techniques as part of a team responsible for continuous improvement to products and processes.

TIG/MIG 3 or more years Experience with stainless steel and carbon steel materials (Pipe experience a plus)

Experienced in reading and interpreting blueprints
