Fabricator I

Wilsonart, Nashville, Tennessee has an immediate opening for a Fabricator I. This individual handles inventory, work in process and waste material. Applies basic skills and develops skills and techniques for using tools and machinery utilized in the area of specialization. Performs other tasks as required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Cleans material before and after assembly
  • Completes projects to specification
  • Material handling
  • Assists with material handling and job staging
  • Sands material
  • Shop maintenance

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Ability to learn products and their characteristics
  • Ability to learn fabrication techniques
  • Ability to operate saws, routers, drills, and table saws
  • Knowledge of proper usage, care and maintenance of hand tools
  • Ability to follow directions
  • Knowledge of basic hand tool application


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION
High School Graduate or GED

EXPERIENCE:
3+ years of work related history


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENT S: Continuous physical exertion is required, such as walking/pushing/climbing and lifting material or equipment of heavy weight (>50 lbs)
