Welder Fabricator Job Title: Experienced WelderShift: Flexible (1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift as needed), Overtime requiredLocation: NilesSalary: Starting at $17.00 per hour (Wage range increases based on weld test performance):We are seeking skilled and experienced Welders to join our Fabrication Facility/Job Shop. If you're a talented and proficient welder who can work across shifts and is willing to put in overtime when necessary, this opportunity is for you. As a Welder, you will be responsible for producing high-quality welds on heavy fabrication projects, using your expertise to interpret blueprints, weld in various positions, and contribute to the success of our team.Responsibilities:*Perform welding tasks using 1/16” and 3/32” diameter wire in all positions.*Interpret blueprints, understanding and following specifications to ensure accurate welding.*Pass a 3G Welding Test to demonstrate your welding skills and techniques.*Utilize your welding experience to meet industry standards for welding and fabrication, including weld symbols.*Demonstrate mechanical aptitude by using a variety of hand tools and shop equipment.**Work effectively in a team environment, collaborating with colleagues to ensure project success.*Possess the ability to work flexible shifts (1st, 2nd, or 3rd) based on production needs.*Be willing to work overtime when required to meet project deadlines.*Utilize your own hand tools and tool box for the job.*Contribute positively to a safe and clean work environment.Minimum Qualifications:*Successful completion of a 3G Welding Test.*Proficiency in reading, understanding, and interpreting blueprints.*At least 2 years of preferred experience in heavy fabrication welding.*Demonstrated ability to weld in all positions using 1/16” and 3/32” diameter wire.*Mechanical aptitude using a variety of hand tools and shop equipment.*Possession of your own hand tools and tool box.*Knowledge of industry standards for welding and fabrication, including weld symbols.Benefits:*Competitive starting wage of $17.00 per hour and up based on weld test performance.*Comprehensive fringe benefit package, including 401(K), medical insurance, and life insurance.*Paid vacation and holidays.*Potential for quarterly bonuses based on performance.Join our team of skilled welders and be part of a dynamic Fabrication Facility/Job Shop that values your expertise and dedication.
