Welder/Fabricator Jobs

Role
As a Welder/Fabricator (also known as Metal Fabricator, Structural Fabricator), you will be responsible for general sheet metal and structural fabrication. You will work under direct supervision, demonstrate initiative, and take ownership of tasks. Your duties will include building, assembling, modifying, and repairing machinery and equipment based on requisition documentation, layout plans, blueprints, or other drawings. You will also fabricate metal parts for prototype equipment, perform field welding, and oversee maintenance contract and service work as assigned.

Qualifications

• Experience in all types of welding processes including Stick, Mig, Tig, Innershield, Sub Arc, Oxy-acetylene, hard surfacing, Plasma, and Carbon Arc Gouging (Air Arc).
• High School education or equivalent.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and use various measuring devices (tape measure, micrometers, levels, plumb bobs, etc.).
