Technical Quality Assurance Analyst

H.W. Kaufman Group is seeking a Technical Quality Assurance Analyst to assist in quality analysis and testing of our development throughout the building, deployment, and implementation of our digital solutions.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Providing operational underwriting support for the implemented offices operating within the production environment
• Participation and knowledge of the progress relating to all ongoing digital transformation products
• Technical QA testing of new products, rates, and forms prior to approval of deployment to production environments
• Establish and maintain relationships with the key product and technology development teams including external vendors or partner/ ecosystem relationships
• Assistance with compiling test cases for Subject Matter Expert Testing, as well as, prepping for future UAT environments
• Validation of forms and policy proofing for production offices that have recently been onboarded in relation to new product rollout
• Orchestrating a variety of subject matter experts to participate in organized testing sessions prior to the release of a new product to our field offices
• Ongoing Quality Assurance Testing relating to technical enhancements, bug fixes, new product testing, and system functionality
• Communicating, responding, and documenting progress on various tasks within Jira, Confluence, Outlook ant Teams/ SharePoint
• Assisting with reconciliation of contractual requirements, SME requirements & VMGA forms requirements as needed with the ability to identify discrepancies and items that need to be escalated for clarification to the project owner
• Assist in bringing new products to market by ensuring adequate and successful testing for test cases has been achieved
• Work closely with product teams and carrier partner liaisons in order to ensure that the product is delivering the business requirements and vision

Qualifications:

• Understands the key principals of Excess & Surplus lines insurance, the ideal candidate will have prior underwriting experience
• Basic familiarity with the principles of design thinking, and lean and agile software delivery
• Prior experience leading projects, project teams a plus
