Technical Program Manager, Logistics Technology :
The Technical Program Manager will drive process and technology improvements to improve scalability and efficiency for logistics teams and proactively address issues that help internal customers. You will work backwards from the customer to solve technical challenges and drive stakeholder communication. Your scope will include collaboration across business, product, and engineering teams to balance technical trade-offs, cost, and development schedules with business outcomes. The Manager will develop alpha / beta applications to elicit requirements from the business teams and communicate your vision to the engineering teams.You may be asked to travel up to 15% within the United States.
You will…
Define tools and technology that support operations, lead build vs buy decisions, implement the solutions, and serve as the process owner/subject matter expert
Define key business processes in logistics including planning, middle mile, and/or last mile
Report to the Associate Director, Logistics to enhance customer experience through technical program management
Engage with external software providers to understand their solutions and how they could accelerate our business or operations
Capture, manage and maintain the data integrity within new platforms
Ensure our processes and systems scale to support the future growth of the business
Launch and enhance customer-facing features that connect both business processes and technology
Partner with business stakeholders, product and engineering teams to define processes, set requirements and roll out solutions to meet project deadlines
Work directly with our transportation team to lead and reinforce operational process improvement projects
Mitigate risks and measure processes through deep driving into data sets and monitoring process improvement initiatives

You have…
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Computer Science or similar area of study
3 years experience in a hands-on, analytical environment including project management and defining deliverables against ambiguous goals required
2 years of experience building tools/applications in a high-level language, such as Python or Java and working with data in various Big Data platforms such as Snowflake and Cloudera required
Ability to travel up to 15% within the United States
Experience with Excel or Tableau and understanding of DevOps and Agile methodologies preferred
Familiarity with operations and supply chain management concepts - forecasting, planning, optimization, logistics preferred.
