Technical Marketing Engineer Intern

This role has been designated as ‘Office’, which means you will primarily work from an HPE office.

Be part of a highly technical team that must understand how to market business to business products to a worldwide market. This role will have the exciting opportunity to be the face of the product by delivering innovative video, presentation, and written content. You will also gain exposure to our product management and engineering teams where you will have to navigate how to translate HPE’s business needs into technical requirements that can be turned into product. Finally, learn about the cloud and enterprise networking market and what it takes to compete in this fast moving space.

Responsibilities

• Present technical information to a variety of audiences in an easy to understand manner.
• Collaborate with TMEs and Sales organizations to coordinate efforts, jointly identify technical messaging, and gather information about our marketspace
• Analyze and understand our market’s solutions to understand how we fit
• Create collateral that can be leveraged by direct and partner sales organizations.
• Design portions of engineering solutions utilizing multiple engineering disciplines for products, systems, software, and solutions based on established engineering principles and in accordance with provided specifications and requirements
• Develop understanding of and relationship with internal and outsourced development partners on engineering design and development.
• Participate as a member of project team of other engineers and internal and outsourced development partners to develop reliable, cost effective and high quality solutions for low to moderately- complex products.
• Implements established test plans for existing designs, including validation of mechanical, electrical, software, and other engineering specifications and requirements.

Education And Experience Required

• Bachelor's degree completed. 2nd year of Master's degree completed in Mechanical, Electrical, or other Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.

Knowledge And Skills

• Experience or understanding of appropriate engineering design tools and software packages.
• Good analytical and problem solving skills.
• Basic understanding of material properties and hardware and electrical component design.
• Good written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language

If this is a sales role, then the listed salary range reflects combined base salary and target-level sales compensation pay. Hourly: $31.50 - $45.25
