As Technical Marketing Lead, you will play a pivotal role in designing and initiating the development and implementation of our marketing technology. You will take charge of advancing the marketing tech stack by investigating the necessary technology offerings to achieve our objectives. Your responsibilities will include creating blueprints, performing due diligence, drafting product specifications and technical requirements, and collaborating with the Product & Engineering teams to successfully integrate with third-party solutions that make our marketing tech stack best in class.
Your goal is to establish a technology foundation that enables our marketing team to accomplish their goals, creating strong connections with our customers that go beyond individual transactions.
Your typical day may include:
- Conducting due diligence on potential technology partners to ensure they meet our requirements and can deliver the necessary functionality and performance
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including marketing, data, product, and engineering, to understand their needs and optimize the marketing tech stack
- Designing, implementing, and optimizing data-driven customer journeys through tech stack that drive engagement, retention, and revenue growth
- Continuously monitoring and evaluating the performance of our marketing tech stack, identifying areas for optimization and making data-driven recommendations for improvement
- Envisioning the ideal customer journey and identifying gaps in our current technology setup
- Drafting detailed product specifications and technical requirements for CRM tech stack enhancements, ensuring they are clearly articulated and understood by all stakeholders
- Developing a blueprint for marketing tech enhancements, including the selection of third-party solutions and integrations that can help us achieve our objectives
- Communicating marketing technology strategy updates and progress to relevant stakeholders, ensuring they are well-informed and engaged in the development process
- Providing ongoing support and guidance to the marketing team(s), empowering them to leverage the technology foundation effectively to achieve their goals
- Researching and staying up-to-date with the latest technology trends and best practices to ensure our tech stack remains cutting-edge
- Taking ownership of outcomes and finding solutions in tech stack, tech setup, prioritization and implementation
- Focusing on customer experiences and proposing new ideas driven by technical capabilities
We'd love to chat with you if you have the following:
- Proficiency in CRM platforms and integrating SaaS tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Braze, etc.)
- 3+ years of experience leading CRM / technical marketing teams, preferably in an e-commerce or tech company
- Ownership mindset, strong commitment, and can-do attitude
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Marketing, Business, or a related field
- Strong background in CRM, marketing automation, and customer success roles
- Proven track record of driving customer engagement and revenue growth through CRM technology initiatives
- Exceptional communication and project management skills
- Deep understanding of data analytics, customer segmentation, and targeting strategies
