We are looking for a Technical Lead to join our amazing tech team. This role is unique to have the ability to develop and direct projects and a team. Atria is an award winning growing organization that is looking for someone to shine.
What the opportunity encompasses:
  • Directing the development of custom business applications using one or more of the following technologies – Angular, Node JS, SQL (PostgreSQL).
  • Be a part of a SCRUM/Agile team to deliver high quality business solutions in a timely fashion, consistently adding value.
  • Ensuring all code reviewed as well as code they write adheres to architectural standards and sound design.
  • Solution design, interfacing with business users, as well as production support, including responding to incidents and trouble-shooting issues when necessary.
  • Develops, tests, debugs, documents and supports applications and IT processes in compliance with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) policy and consistent with business requirements to deliver business value.
  • Provide direction to more junior team members, influencing design approach as well as reviewing and approving code written by other members of the team.
  • Investigates problem areas, takes ownership of deliverables, and creates technical documentation and/or Knowledge base articles.
Location: This position may be done HYBRID out of one the following home office locations or fully remote:

The anticipated annual base salary range for this position is $90,000 to $110,000. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
What you will do:
  • Keep abreast of current tools and technologies and suggest appropriate tools to improve software development.
  • Updates job knowledge by studying state-of-the-art development tools, programming techniques
  • Build knowledge and understanding of applicable products and services as they evolve.
  • Set development estimates and adhere to those schedules.
  • Work collaboratively and share ideas
  • Adhere to all Atria Wealth Solutions defined coding standards with code maintainability being the focus.
  • Take responsibility for production support, potentially including monitoring scheduled tasks, trouble-shooting applications; carrying out data analyst to provide answers for data related questions from business users; generating reports as required
  • Present ideas and concepts with good verbal and presentation skills.
  • Provide innovative ideas to improve the ability of the team.
  • Contribute to and propose additional standards as required
  • Convey information in a clear, concise manner.
  • Ensure solutions are fit for purpose by conducting unit testing and validation that developed features meet all acceptance criteria
  • Understand the business needs of internal and external customers and provide comprehensive solutions for such needs
  • Flexibility to work occasional nights and weekends to support mission critical deliverables, code releases or other deadlines
  • Increase knowledge through internal resources, company trainings, and publications.
  • Focus on task at hand and minimize outside distractions.
  • Work on projects independently and with minimal guidance and assume the responsibility for the success of deliverables.
  • Ensure all non-functional requirements are met, including performance standards
Must haves:
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to analyze business requirements in the form of User Stories, processes/analyze data
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience building and maintaining solutions using one or more of the core technologies below:
  • SQL / PostgresSql
  • Angula/NodeJS
  • Proficiency in SDLC processes and tools, including JIRA, Github, Travis, Jenkins or other CI/CD pipeline tools
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or another relevant engineering discipline, or equivalent work experience and a minimum of 5 years of experience.
  • React Native
  • Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented concepts and design patterns
  • JQuery, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, XML
  • Technical Abilities include Software Development, documentation, and testing
