The company uses a unique as-a-service model empowering developers to build, share and run their applications anywhere – from public to hybrid cloud and to the edge. Mirantis serves many of the world’s leading enterprises, including Adobe, DocuSign, Reliance Jio, STC, Vodafone, and Volkswagen.

The Mirantis Global Learning Services team is focused on turning that extensive field experience into meaningful and effective learning experiences for students. As a Technical Curriculum Developer on that team, your primary focus is to empower our customers to be successful in adopting our products by creating highly effective and inspirational training experiences. This is an opportunity to deepen your technical, instructional design, and content development skills.

You’ll be responsible for designing, creating, delivering and maintaining a portfolio of courses targeted for the IT Operations and Developer audiences using the latest in open cloud technologies including Docker containers, Kubernetes orchestration, microservices, CI/CD, among others.

  • Highly enabled customers, partners, and new hires on the technologies and products from your course deliveries.
  • Customer requirements and ongoing feedback is regularly captured, understood, and incorporated into our offerings.
  • Mirantis’ curriculum is highly relevant and effective for cloud engineers and developers.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with stakeholder teams to understand training content needs and build technically accurate content that meets the learning objectives of new and existing customers.
  • Launch new training content and programs, as required.
  • Collaborate with subject-matter experts to identify and research the requirements of role-based curriculums.
  • Deliver Mirantis’ official courses to key enterprise customers and internal audiences including new hire cohorts in a variety of training modalities.
  • Drive multiple projects to completion in an environment with competing deadlines.
  • Revise, rewrite, and review course content for accuracy.
  • Measure impact, gather key success metrics, and report on findings and trends.
  • Design and develop engaging courses, workshops, and other teaching resources for ILT, online, virtual and blended modalities.
  • Deliver enablement sessions to new and existing Mirantis training partners using the latest Mirantis products and course updates.
  • Adapt instructional materials created for one format to another format (usually from face-to-face to eLearning and virtual).
  • Apply instructional design techniques, best practices, and adult learning theory including but not limited to learning objectives, scenarios, simulations, audio scripts, progress checks, performance evaluations, and knowledge assessments.
  • Take a hands-on approach to learning relevant technologies and prevailing use cases.
  • Upload, test, and maintain content to an LMS.
  • Identify gaps in existing course offerings and propose, design, and develop solutions.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated working knowledge of eLearning development tools such as Articulate Studio/Storyline, Captivate, Camtasia, and virtual instructor-led training tools.
  • Well-versed with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Proficient with CSS/HTML/reStructuredText, BASH scripting, and Git/GitHub for version control.
  • Familiarity with software application development or IT operations and enterprise container platform solutions.
