Technical Communications Specialist Jobs

MUST HAVE:

• Journalism background
• Ability to speak the technical lingo - engineering understanding
• Campaign will be specifically software and hardware engineers, so would be helpful to have that exposure
• Have relationship building with engineering teams
• Technical writing & language that appeals to engineers - translating engineering speak into programmatic pieces

The main function of a Communications Specialist is to assist corporate communications with message development, writing, and editing.

Meta is looking for a technical communicator with extensive experience working in the developer community to support an internal communications engineer engagement effort. In this position, you will work with cross-functional engineering and communications partners to inspire our engineers about the company’s long-term strategy and vision and celebrate their contributions towards achieving it. This role is part research, part technical writing, and part content and event execution support.

Job Responsibilities:

• Build relationships with engineers across the company to gain insight on what they care about most to inform the campaign’s strategic direction

• Serve as liaison between a team of engineers and campaign communications leads to ensure programming resonates and inspires

• Support in designing and executing bespoke campaign content and events across internal channels
