As part of the Global Communications team and reporting to the Director of Global Functions and Culture Communications, this individual will create and execute compelling communications that drive employee awareness and engagement. They will provide tactical communications support to our global functions, including Finance, Legal and Business & Strategy. In addition, this role will support the rollout of programs and activities that engage and inspire employees and foster our culture.


Your Responsibilities


  • Supports communications and event planning for the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion program’s Communities of Inclusion (COIs)
  • Monitors and assesses utilization of internal communication media to determine effectiveness
  • Provides guidance to company leaders around communication plans, special events and announcements to ensure high impact and effectiveness
  • Brings creative ideas and new approaches to messaging to maintain engagement.
  • Creates, edits and oversees distribution of regular and ad hoc internal communication materials through a variety of communication channels
  • Plans, writes and edits content for internal communications channels, including web, email, social media and print
  • Provides tactical and logistical support for large-scale employee communications programs and events designed to engage our employees. This includes our annual awards program, companywide talent show and special activities at our San Jose campus.


Skills & Competencies


  • Highly competent user of PowerPoint.
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills; ability to cut through with a succinct, modern communication style.
  • Experience with Communication strategy and plan development
  • Tech savvy. Keen understanding of cutting-edge communication channels and methodology.
  • Strong visual, digital and social storytelling and engagement capabilities.
  • Data driven. Understands how to measure communication tactics and adjust based on results


Basic Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree required – preferably in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations or related field.
  • 3+ years’ experience in employee communications.

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment in California, Washington, or New York City is expected in the range below.


$61,200 - $94,050


Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.


If hired, employees will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
