The Talent & Leadership Development Manager will be responsible for leading and delivering our talent management and leadership development programs and efforts. Working collaboratively with the HR Team and the business, this position will be accountable for identifying, nurturing, and developing talent to advance the leadership pipeline and enable a culture of continuous learning and growth.
A Day in the Life
  • Refine leadership capability models and frameworks to guide leadership development initiatives.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of talent management and leadership development initiatives and programs and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
  • Design, implement, and sustain leadership development programs and experiences that build leadership capabilities and strengthen the talent pipeline.
  • Coordinate with 3rd party vendors on leadership learning content, coaching programs, and leadership assessments.
  • Manage the annual talent review process (talent assessment and succession planning) to identify, retain, and develop future leaders.
  • Collaborate with Talent & Org Effectiveness team, HRBPs, DEI team, and business leaders to identify key talent development needs and ensure alignment to business strategy and objectives.
  • Execute and deliver on a Talent Management and Leadership Development strategy aligned with the organization's goals and objectives in partnership with the Talent & Organization Effectiveness leader.
  • Develop and deliver communication materials, training programs, and resources to educate employees and managers on programs, processes, and best practices.
  • Provide guidance and support managers with creating and initiating career development opportunities for successors and high potential talent.
Requirements
  • Excellent facilitation, presentation, and communication skills
  • Metrics-driven with experience in using data and talent insights to influence and drive programs
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent business experience
  • Experience with talent management systems, learning management systems, and e-learning platforms
  • 5-7 years of progressive experience with talent development, leadership development, and/or talent management
  • In-depth knowledge of talent management and development strategies, best practices, and industry trends
  • Track record of being a partner to leaders across a variety of functional areas as well as demonstrated ability to build strong relationships and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience with leadership development vendor relationships and establishing service level agreements
  • Excellent critical thinking, decision making, and project management skills
