Equitable Financial Life Insurance Company seeks a Systems Analyst for its Syracuse, NY location.

Duties: Design and develop software applications and solutions utilizing latest technologies for company portal serving employees, brokers, and clients. Analyze requirements and provide strategic solutions to address business problems. Develop computer applications utilizing full stack development technologies. Interact with business area, perform data analysis, and provide solutions to streamline existing processes. Contribute to high level technical design (HLD) based on Functional Specifications and create Low Level Design (LLD) specifications using Unified Modeling Language (UML) tools to document design. Utilize Java, Microservices, MongoDB, AngularJS, Azure Cloud, Docker, Kubernetes, JSTL, Spring Framework, XML, JasperReports, Javascript, JQuery, WebLogic, Websphere Portal, SQL Server DB and Oracle, Linux, HTML 5, Maven, AJAX, WebServices, and Content Management tools to achieve the desired functionality in software systems solutions development projects.

The base salary range for this position is $126,152 - $145,833. Actual base salaries vary based on skills, experience, and geographical location. In addition to base pay, Equitable provides compensation to reward performance with base salary increases, spot bonuses, and short-term incentive compensation opportunities. Eligibility for these programs depends on level and functional area of responsibility.

Description
Requires Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Elec Engineering or related field with at least ten (10) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience as Consultant, Software Developer or in a related position involving designing, implementing and testing business logic modules. Full term of experience must include: JAVA, J2EE, HTML, XML, XSLT/XSL, SOAP, and REST Full Web Services, GIT and Team Foundation Server (TFS), Apache Tomcat, Oracle SQL/PLSQL and Splunk. Must have at least three (3) years utilizing Spring Framework, Hibernate and Microservices using SpringBoot. 40 hours/week. Direct applicants only. Partial remote work schedule available.
