Accuray develops, manufactures and sells radiotherapy systems for alternative cancer treatments. Our radiation therapy for cancer makes treatment shorter, safer, personalized and more effective, ultimately enabling patients to live longer, better lives.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Represent the company at our customer sites and interact directly with customers to meet their needs and expectations.
  • Exercise good system troubleshooting skills. - Perform mandatory equipment modifications and satisfactorily complete required paperwork related to customer acceptance
  • Work cross-functionally with customer support to resolve any site planning or technical issues.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
  • Lead timely and complex installation of Accuray's Cyberknife and Tomotherapy systems at various hospitals and free-standing cancer centers. Locations are throughout the US, Canada, LATAM.
  • Technically supervise and instruct technicians on the proper methods and techniques to perform installation calibrations on their designated modality.
  • Proper use of all standard test equipment: Multi-meter Oscilloscope, Line Resistance meter, Water phantoms.
  • Submit timely and accurately; service reports, parts return, time sheets, expense reports film badges and other paperwork as assigned.
  • Be able to read, analyze, interpret, and follow signal flow on blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Preferred or Desired:
  • Must reside within proximity to a major airport.
  • Requires excellent organizational skills.
  • Must maintain an active driver’s license in the home state.
  • Experience with diagnostic imaging devices, linear accelerators and/or robotics Required:
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds or more.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience preferably in Electronics, Physics, or an associated discipline.
  • Must have effective written and verbal communication skills. Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical and/or electronic equipment.
  • Must be willing to travel as required and work independently.
  • This position requires substantial travel, often for 2+ weeks at a time.
  • Experience using electronic measuring devices such as Digital Multimeter and oscilloscope, water phantom.
  • Ability to represent the organization in a professional and positive manner in stressful situations.
  • Unix/Linux experience a plus

Accuray pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Accuray Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants.
