Job Description
SVP- Sales is a key leadership role within the sales team that reports directly to the EVP of Sales. This position will be a hybrid


role that continues to sell as well as manage direct reports by assisting in continued sales education, communication with other


internal departments, and managing the sales team pipeline.


The SVP role will receive bonus compensation based on their team’s performance and their own individual targets.


Responsibilities


  • Work closely with the EVP to communicate program changes and updates from other departments within Wheels Up.
  • Builds and leads a team of salespeople to help drive revenue. Provides guidance, training and mentorship through


motivation, counseling and product knowledge education within the Wheels Up Sales team.


  • Manage your team pipeline and forecast.
  • Continues to be responsible for generating new member sales/member acquisition through the qualification of inbound


leads, self-generated prospects and seasoned leads identified by the Company.


  • This position will work cross-functionally with multiple internal departments including the marketing and sales operations


to leverage any and all resources available to increase sales.


  • Educates, consults, and advises on the value of private aviation and the Wheels Up Membership, and build a pipeline in


Salesforce.com.


  • Stay current on marketing trends, maintaining awareness of competitor activity and recommending an appropriate


solution to the prospective member.


  • Performs other duties as assigned.


Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration or related field.
  • Experience leading a sales team, private aviation experience preferred. This should include experience in planning and
  • Minimum five years’ experience in sales related function required, private aviation experience preferred.

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including demonstrated customer relationship management skills.

  • Must be detailed oriented and extremely organized. Self-motivated and naturally curious.
  • Successful experience as a sales representative or sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets.

The wage range for this position is $95,000.00 to $125,000.00. This range takes into account a variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, such as differences in skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. This wage range has not been adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with where the position may be filled. At Wheels Up, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. Your placement within the wage range is primarily based on your qualifications and experience.
