Support Analyst - Supply/Demand Planner

Role Overview:

As a Support Analyst - Supply/Demand Planner, you will play a crucial role in supporting our supply chain and demand planning teams. Your primary responsibility will be to provide comprehensive analytical support, utilizing your expertise in SAP and supply chain management principles to contribute to efficient and effective decision-making. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, gather data, perform data analysis, generate reports, and provide valuable insights to enhance our supply and demand planning processes.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth analysis of supply and demand patterns, identifying potential risks and opportunities for optimization.
• Collaborate with the supply chain and demand planning teams to understand their requirements and provide analytical support.
• Assist in the development and implementation of demand forecasting models, considering historical data, market trends, and customer insights.
• Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging technologies, and market trends related to supply chain and demand planning.
• Monitor inventory levels, identify potential stockouts or excesses, and propose appropriate actions to maintain optimal inventory levels.
• Generate accurate and timely reports, highlighting key performance indicators, trends, and potential areas for improvement.
• Utilize SAP and other relevant tools to extract, organize, and analyze data related to supply chain activities, inventory management, demand forecasting, and production planning.
• Support the implementation and maintenance of supply chain systems and tools, recommending enhancements and participating in user acceptance testing.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment between supply planning, production scheduling, and customer demand.

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of supply and demand planning concepts, inventory management, and production planning.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and build strong relationships.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets to drive insights and actionable recommendations.
• Proactive and self-motivated, with a passion for continuous learning and professional development.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong proficiency in SAP, including SAP Supply Chain modules (MM, PP, SD), and advanced proficiency in MS Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and propose innovative solutions.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supply chain, demand planning, or related analytical role.
