We planted our roots in Newark, New Jersey during the Great Depression, selling premium nuts on Mulberry Street's open-air market. The Role


The Supply Planner is responsible for taking an analytical approach towards monitoring and managing optimum inventory levels for the portfolio of products assigned to them. The supply planner will be reviewing inventory on hand, placing and confirming purchase orders and managing vendor communication. The ideal candidate will be data driven and detail oriented and comfortable working in ambiguous environments.


What You'll Do


  • Partner with Ops on receipt of placed PO’s and manage the volume that comes into the DC
  • Effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders
  • Analyze inventory and demand plans and place purchase orders as necessary
  • Consistently hit in-stock and overstock targets
  • Maintain website stocking status and leverage ATP (available to promise) settings
  • Ensure gaps in ability to supply are addressed, scenarios established and issues appropriately escalated
  • Partner with category merchants to support inventory investment needs for seasonal and evergreen category strategies
  • Critical thinking abilities and willingness to challenge the status quo
  • Support introduction of new products and product discontinuation
  • Track placed PO’s and keep ERP(Kernel Web) up-to-date
  • Review daily purchasing reports and act proactively to mitigate OOS risk
  • Analyze large quantities of data to help the Supply Chain team and other parts of the organization make decisions that drive value
  • Manage relationships with key vendors to maintain quality of goods, timely delivery, and compliance to terms of contracts
  • Work cross functionally with all areas of the business, i.e.: Sales & Marketing, Finance, Operations and CX to solve problems and identify business improvement opportunities
  • Identify opportunities in unproductive inventory strategies


What You’ll Bring


  • 3-5 years of experience in Supply Planning or Purchasing roles (Food & Beverage industry preferred)
  • Detail-oriented, ability to multitask and prioritize tasks to stay organized
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, Logistics, Supply Chain
  • Proactive, can-do attitude
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively cross functionally
  • Advanced Excel skills required. Experience with looker or another data analytics/reporting tool preferred

  • Annual Salary Range: $80,000 - $95,000 plus annual bonus


Base salaries may vary based on factors such as skills, experience and qualifications for the role. Base pay is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include short & long term incentive compensation. I n addition, employees are eligible for our standard benefits package including paid time off, medical, dental and 401K match.
