Are you passionate about optimizing supply chains and ensuring smooth inventory management? We have an exciting opportunity for a Supply Chain Planner in Summit, New Jersey! Join our dynamic team and play a crucial role in efficiently managing inventory and supply planning activities for our cutting-edge CAR-T program.
As a Supply Chain Planner, you will be responsible for analyzing inventory demand and supply, establishing reordering quantities, and monitoring order fulfillment and inventory trends. Your expertise will contribute to the success of our state-of-the-art facility, where we leverage the latest technologies and innovations in a regulated environment to support our inventory and supply planning activities.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage and monitor materials handling operations, ensuring efficient planning of inventory levels and control.
Develop expertise in inventory tracking and modeling, maintaining accurate models for raw materials, components, and reagents to meet production demands during periods of growth and expansion.
Utilize historical raw material trends and predictive analysis to maintain forecast models, maximizing supply chain efficiency.
Support monthly inventory reconciliation of raw materials and packaging components, ensuring accuracy and availability.
Execute forecast models based on production demand aligned with company objectives, ensuring stable supply chain operations.
Contribute to inventory management activities, including inventory control, warehouse storage capacity assessments, and final product availability.
Assist in analyzing performance metrics for raw material inventory, identifying cost-saving opportunities.
Enhance standard work measurement for internal inventory activities, optimizing personnel planning and resource utilization.
Gain expertise in implementing a supply chain for rapid scale growth, considering high-value and high-volume raw materials in a regulated environment.
Diligently manage inventory commitments, considering financial implications and business dynamics.
Support finance inventory assessments for audits and reporting requirements.
Foster open communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive operational efficiency and material availability.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required.
0-2 years of relevant experience in materials management and/or supply chain within cGMP operations.
Strong understanding of federal regulations for Quality Systems (21CFR820) and GMP manufacturing (21CFR 210,211).
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to thrive in a team environment, with a positive attitude and willingness to assist others.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with keen attention to detail.
Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
Independent and adaptable, with a willingness to learn and embrace new challenges.
Flexibility in scheduling to accommodate the hybrid work model.
