WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR IN A SUCCESSFUL PROCUREMENT SPECIALIST:

• Able to manage and regularly prioritize workload to meet deadlines and adjust to fluctuations in workload

• Must have advanced computer skills, including MS Word, MS Outlook and Excel

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, accounting or a related field
• Minimum three (3) years’ experience working in procurement

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

• Engages and ensures input from stakeholders throughout the sourcing process, working in a collaborative approach and acting as a trusted advisor to internal departments.
• Display integrity and positive attitude when dealing with employees, management and vendors.
• Develop and maintain supplier performance review metrics & scorecards
• Develop and implement sourcing strategies which align with the company’s goals and objectives and deliver operational efficiencies.
• Track and monitor vendor compliance with key contract terms, SLA’s, and all related laws and regulations.
• Administration of the company’s Procure to Pay software, including appropriate approval workflows, business processes, vendor set ups and integration with the company’s ERP.
• Manage and maintain contracts with vendors.
• Build & enhance supplier relationships to drive sourcing & supplier initiatives to meet or exceed product quality, service & deliver sustainable cost reductions.
• Must maintain confidentiality in all matters and handle all matters discretely.
• Managing daily, monthly and quarterly reports
• Writing and leading RFP / RFI processes and bids, creating SOW’s and opening PO’s.
• Assists departments by providing market information needed for tactical and strategic planning.
