Supply Chain Senior Analyst
As the Supply Chain Senior Analyst, you will be responsible for analysis, operational execution, problem solving, and utilizing technology to manage the ocean logistics for Best Buy’s import shipments from overseas. The focus of the Supply Chain Senior Analyst is to act as a subject matter expert for ocean logistics when making data-driven decisions, recommending strategies or process improvements, and collaborating with internal partners. You will work both internally and externally and with international partners to ensure operational excellence. This role reports to the Senior Manager of International Logistics.
What you’ll do

• Manage third-party service providers including freight forwarder, ocean carriers, and drayage carriers, operational KPIs, issue resolution and root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with internal cross-functional partners in Category Management, Exclusive Brands, Distribution, IT, Finance, Decision Science and BBY Canada Supply Chain team.
• Partner with Global Trade and Decon operations daily to resolve issues, improve operations, and reduce cost. 
• Utilize data and analytics to drive operational excellence. 
• Proactively identify opportunities for process or operational improvement while recommending and implementing solutions.

Basic qualifications

• Intermediate Microsoft Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
• 2+ years of experience in a Supply Chain, Inventory management or Retail environment.
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal).

Preferred qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a large global consumer-oriented business in retail industry or supply chain.
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative and cross-functional team environment.
• Ability to demonstrate initiative, work independently, and apply problem solving and critical thinking skills.
