Job Description

Responsibilities:


  • Oversee master scheduling responsibilities covering a 65 week planning horizon, projecting manufacturing and warehousing capacity demands.
  • Provide early management leadership and direction as it relates to new products.
  • Demonstrating learning agility and curiosity to grow as a leader and to gain deeper insights that provide value to one’s work
  • Perform root cause analysis utilizing Tableau tools in combination with advanced Excel spreadsheets.
  • Provide clear and effective correspondence to senior leaders within Supply Chain. Articulate thoughts and express ideas effectively to multiple audiences using oral, written, and non-verbal communication skills.
  • Acting as a "player coach"; having direct hands on responsibility for plant and co-packer finished goods planning.
  • Taking on new and complex challenges with energy and enthusiasm, influencing and motivating others
  • Track plant schedule adherence and attainment performance and provide directional analysis.
  • Effectively utilize Replenishment Planning tool and STO process to generate timely replenishment orders. Responsibly deploy finished goods and monitor the deployment and delivery of appropriate inventory levels to the warehouses.
  • Provide feedback and data to demand planning organizations to minimize waste and product availability gaps.
  • Manage daily warehouse inventory replenishment levels in compliance to company inventory targets and customer service objectives in both plant and 3rd party warehouses
  • Working across boundaries and creating trusting relationships, demonstrating active listening skills
  • Manage the old age for assigned products including analysis and action plans on key drivers of loss.
  • Provide back-up support for supply chain functions as necessary
  • Collaborate closely with Logistics, Operations, plant/co-packers, and re-packers to establish optimum production schedules and run strategies.
  • Ability to make tactical decisions, manage risks, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrated understanding of plant planning processes and ability to train and assist plant business planners


Qualifications:

  • Ability to use existing tools to develop effective material and finished good plans
  • Must possess strong analytical skills, including problem analysis and resolution along with strong presentation skills
  • 3 to 5 years of business planning or related experience
  • Must be able to demonstrate good mathematical aptitude and work well with others
  • Strong customer focus and results orientation
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong computer literacy and be comfortable with optimization software
  • Must possess strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work and participate effectively in a team environment
  • A Bachelor's degree. Supply Chain Management or related field is preferred
  • Highly self-motivated and self-managed, with excellent prioritization and organizational skills
  • SAP experience
  • Computer literacy in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook is a must
  • Ability to communicate effectively, internally and externally to all levels of management in both verbal and written communications
