The IT Supply Chain organization is seeking a Planning Analyst to support advanced planning related applications, initiatives and programs for multiple Medical Devices franchises: Cardiovascular Specialty Solutions (CSS), One Ethicon (Ethicon and/or Endo Mech & Energy) and DePuy Synthes. The IT Lead will own the functional build activities associated with the implementation of enhancements, upgrades, and integrations for our portfolio of Global Advanced Planning and Scheduling as well as legacy ERP solutions.


Primary Responsibilities Include


  • Delivery and build of small to medium scale advanced planning related projects that meet partner requirements, are on-time, and on-budget.
  • Provide critical issue support and the integration of the platforms with OM Partners (OMP +), SAP S/4 HANA, SAP APO, JDE and other legacy systems
  • Ensure alignment to J&J standards (SDLC, CSV). Acts as level (3) support for advanced planning applications and advanced planning ERP functionality.
  • Design and Deployment of IT solutions in OM Partners (OMP +), SAP Advanced Planning and Optimization (APO)
  • Support the Supply Chain End-to-End data flows
Key Responsibilities:


  • Demonstrated understanding of Supply Chain business processes
  • Perform industry benchmarking to identify external and internal trends and innovation related to the service strategy and design. Interact with multi-functional teams, including ADEPT services, to ensure complete delivery of solutions.
  • A bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in Information Technology or related field
  • Supports the assessment of the technical feasibility of proposed solutions and provides appropriate recommendations based on industry trends and existing design.
  • Supports Design and Delivery of OM Partners (OMP +), SAP Advanced Planning and Optimization (APO) Integrated solutions.
  • Collaborate and Integrate with Release Planning and Management services and platforms.
  • Supports the creation or modification of system specifications or test scripts to complete project implementation.
  • A minimum of 2 years of Information Technology experience
  • Broad in-depth knowledge of Planning business processes and integration with SAP, JDE and Non SAP Systems while following approved J&J standard policies and procedures (e.g. SDLC, Agile, IAPP, etc.).
  • Supports reviewing user stories, preparing user story functional document specifications, review technical specifications and coordinate required development activities.
  • Supportsall aspects of vendor relations and services.
  • Related work experience in advanced planning applications such as OM Partners (OMP +), SAP Advanced Planning and Optimization (APO), OM Partners or similar experience
  • Configure OM Partners (OMP+) , SAP Advanced Planning and Optimization (APO), and JDA (Manugistics) systems with the functionality defined in the business requirements and participate in integration and user acceptance testing of RICEF’s.
  • Problem solving and process improvement skills
  • Solid understanding of the service lifecycle with the ability to plan for and execute end to end
Preferred:


  • Experience supporting businesses within Medical Device is highly desirable.
  • Possesses capability to solve sophisticated business problems and present recommendations to management effectively
  • Possesses analytical, and decision-making skills
  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and SDLC processes


This role collaborates with global business partners, particularly in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa and is preferred to operate under an Eastern Time Zone schedule.


Domestic/International travel is required up to 10% of the time. Peak periods of travel may be near 20% for 1-2 months around go-lives.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $60,000 to $84,000.


The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs.Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan.The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/ performance year.Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
