Job Description

One of our clients in the Dayton, NJ area is seeking to hire an experienced Supply Chain Specialist to assist the Raw Material Planning and Inventory Teams. Ideal candidate should have a manufacturing background and strong attention to details.


Summary of responsibilities:

  • Resolving invoice discrepancies in SAP and connecting with Account Payable as needed to promptly pay vendors for goods provided
  • Mitigating raw material shorts
  • Corresponding with other departments for escalations
  • Reviewing SAP and other planning software reports
  • Creating Purchase Orders, following up with vendors for confirmations and shipping information
  • Reviewing blocked invoices to prevent overcharges against contracted agreements.
  • Reviewing slow moving and obsolete inventory reports


Qualifications:

  • Ability to work well on a team, interface with other teams, and be customer focused
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
  • Solid analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
