The Digital Control Tower Visibility Specialist is responsible for delivering system implementation, enhancements, and support. The role will also be responsible for developing and maintaining an end-to-end supply chain visibility solution to track the flow of goods and materials from suppliers to customers. This role requires a deep understanding of supply chain processes, data analytics, and technology solutions to develop and maintain a complete end-to-end supply chain visibility solution. They must monitor and troubleshoot issues with the visibility solution, work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, and stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies to provide innovative solutions to the business.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Leverage tools and data analytics to improve visibility of order statuses, identify inefficiencies in the processes, and design innovative digital solutions.
Serve as the supply chain visibility point of contact for business users, gather user requirements and develop user stories and customer experience journeys
Work with the Supply Chain Planning Digital leader to define visibility solution architecture.
Debug the system and planning output/ features/functions to explain it to the users.
Analyze, design, develop functional specifications for system configuration, upgrades, and modifications.
Develop supply-demand data points to be generated and produced with required data hierarchy to so the business can sense supply chain pulse at any level and any location locally and globally
Develop and implement logistics and transportation visibility strategies to enhance operational efficiency and customer service.
Support the supply, demand, and inventory solution architecture so that systems and the process integrations provide global detailed supply chain visibility across the enterprise.
Perform fit/gap analysis to evaluate each functional area of the business process to achieve specific goals.
Implement digital control tower solutions to enable proactive event management and exception handling
Perform system configurations and testing to achieve business requirements.
Write functional specifications for reports/alerts/customizations and create high-level technical design documents, generate test scripts, perform Quality assurance tests and produce training materials.
Provide requirements to technical team for applications that interface with Oracle Planning and Production Scheduling suite
Develop, update, review SOP and other documents as needed.
WHAT YOU NEED

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
5+ years of overall work experience in project management, IT and/or engineering related fields.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in working with visibility solutions in transportation, supply chain materials management, production scheduling and ATP/ Order Promising solutions.
Experience with Oracle R12 EBS, SQL Developer, Agile, SCRUM, Waterfall, SharePoint, MS Projects
Ensure data accuracy and completeness by working with stakeholders across the organization.
Strong knowledge of supply chain processes, data analytics, and technology solutions.
Able to work with cross-functional teams (e.g., product managers, engineers, business teams) and external subject matter experts
Experience working within an Enterprise
Experience with Oracle R12 EBS / Cloud Work in Supply Planning, Transportation Planning, Available-to-Promise, Global Order Promising modules, Collaborative Planning, I-supplier Portal modules within Oracle
Understanding of Oracle Inventory Management, Bill of Materials, EDI Transactions
Experience in supporting Oracle Supply Planning Applications in a discrete manufacturing environment with multiple manufacturing divisions across the globe.
Effective communication and critical thinking skills, including ability to listen and understand the business need and develop actionable solutions.
Ability to work as part of a team and work independently to prioritize workloads
Ability to adapt quickly and positively to change.
Passionate about building and owning innovative, customer facing services/products.
Great presentation and communication skills
Proficient computer skills and in-depth knowledge of relevant software such as MS Office Suite.
HOW TO STAND OUT
Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
HVAC / Water Heating industry experience preferred.
Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in the areas of Systems Engineering
APICS certification - CPIM/CSCP
