LSG Sky Chefs is searching for the perfect candidate to join their team! Introducing the Site Supply Chain Manager or "General Manager". This position requires someone who can juggle Procurement, Manufacturing, Logistics, HR, Finance, Quality and customer service activities all at once.
As General Manager you would plan, steer and coordinate all these activities to achieve targets and objectives. Contribute to the CSC(Customer Service Center)/regional strategy, develop and execute the implementation of said strategy, and ensure compliance with policies provided by regions and Corporate.

Main Accountabilities
- Ensure clear communication and close co-operation with all relevant internal and external interfaces
- Document and follow up on all department processes in order to implement improvements
- Oversee the CSC’s economic and operating performance. Ensure that the CSC is managed and controlled efficiently in line with the company’s framework and market requirements. Lead the CSC to achieve the budget targets and initiate corrective actions if necessary
- Ensure optimal deployment of human, technical, financial and material resources
- Ensure the compliance with safety, health, environmental and quality guidelines provided by corporate and local regulations and customer requirements
- Initiate capital expenditure requests
- Ensure that the CSC’s work methods are in line with the company standards and customer contracts
- Where applicable: ensure the procurement/purchase of all materials and services needed at the CSC in line with the company’s standards
- Ensure compliance with all government regulatory agencies standards (example: Food and Drug Administration (FDA), United Stated Department of Agriculture (USDA), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Environmental Protection Administration (EPA), Department of Transportation (DOT), Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), etc.)
- Initiate and control continuous optimization of processes
- Guide, motivate and develop staff within the Human Resources policies
- Ensure the development and implementation of short- and mid-term planning on products and services in coordination with Sales & Services and other relevant interfaces. Ensure efficient and timely corrective actions in case of significant deviations
- Make the company's values and management principles live in the department(s)
- Ensure the development of an annual business plan and budgeting for the CSC based on the regional specific objectives and strategy in coordination with the relevant interfaces
- Ensure that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed and directed and that all delivery times are being met timely
- Monitor and ensure compliance with all safety regulations
- Other duties as deemed necessary
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Experience in managing multiple departments
- Successful record in stretching to exceed Corporate expectations
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Industry experience in manufacturing strongly preferred, Food Manufacturing a plus
- Working knowledge of lean manufacturing
- Ability to build, develop, and maintain strong cross-functional teams, employee relations and union relations
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent knowledge required
- In addition, ten years of related work experience required
