As the Supply Chain Logistics Manager, you will manage daily logistics and administrative functions related to the execution of logistics workflows, international and domestic transportation logistics, and domestic and international customer order delivery life cycle and transportation planning associated with customer orders including packing, carrier assignment, tracking, delivery, and returns. You will manage the importation of life science capital equipment and cold chain consumables from APAC and EU facilities. In addition, you will manage the warehouse team and the commercial orders specialist.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Communicate with sales managers regarding order ship dates and prioritizations, setting expectations for deliveries of respective customer orders, parts.
- Oversee the warehouse team ensuring proper review and creation of all picking/packing slips and unit slips are accurate, match sales orders, and part numbers for repair.
- Manage the local inventory of systems, parts, and cold chain consumables.
- Plan and track shipment of sales orders according to customer needs and sales department priorities.
- Oversee carrier relationships, shipment schedules, assurance of pickup times and dates are met and following up on missed orders and deliveries.
- Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, Procurement, Quality Control, and R&D to ensure the execution of large orders form 3rd party vendors are facilitated in an orderly and timely manner.
- Coordinate with international sales and manufacturing leaders to ensure forecasts for capital equipment and cold chain consumables are accurate to ensure timely deliveries to our warehouse and customers.
- Must have a strong understanding of working with customs and brokers, and managing tariffs as it relates to import/export.
- Prepare import/export documents for international shipments include certificates of origin, customs invoices, shipper's letter of instruction, and other related documentation.
- Check and manage inventory daily to ensure products are available for shipping.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO US
- Travel: < 10% domestic and international.
- Excellent written and verbal communications and presentation skills.
- International order management is required.
- Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of experience in logistics and supply chain management.
- Strong knowledge of transportation management and warehouse management systems are required.
- Language: Fluent in English. Chinese speaking is a plus.
- A deemed export license may be required.
HOW WE WILL REWARD YOU
The base salary range for this position is $134,000 - 173,000 DOE. This position will also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
