Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY AND OVERVIEW


The Supply Chain Director will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of the company's supply chain strategy and operations and will play a vital role in driving the company's growth and success. He/she manages and coordinates the company's logistic and supply chain functions across sub-functions such as acquisition, warehousing, material management, and distribution/transportation to meet the company's business requirements.

Responsible for and directs the activities of the purchasing department personnel, to assure on-time and at-budget availability of quality goods and services that support multisite operational requirements. This position requires proven skills in contract administration, negotiations, cost reductions and continuous improvement project leadership, strategic sourcing, R&D/new product development support, and effective management of the supply chain departments and external suppliers. This position works closely with Corporate and Senior Management to aid in the identification and execution of key strategic supply chain initiatives.

EDUCATION, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE

· Bachelor’s or MBA Degree preferred in operations, logistics, business administration, or supply chain disciplines; or a minimum of 10 years experience in a related supply chain/purchasing function.

· 10-15 years' progressive international experience in the Supply chain with extensive experience in the manufacturing industry

· Experience with Supply Chain transformation programs and initiatives.

· Proven track record with strong successful implementations, e.g., WMS or TMS, must have SAP advanced knowledge and experience.

· Ability to develop a strong strategic view and ability to translate this to tactical and operational levels in the organization to achieve what needs to be done to achieve the strategic goal.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

· Develop and implement S&OP within the company - Working closely with key stakeholders and interdependency alignment.

· Drive Working Capital Improvement through Inventory modeling & optimization.

· Develop & Implement Best in Class customer delivery performance.

· Develop and implement supply chain strategies including the development of supply chain design principles.

· Drive Continuous improvement in Logistics & Distribution activities - (Cost, ESG etc)

· Review & Update policies and procedures to support the company's goals and objectives.

· Implementation of Group Supply Chain Scorecard & Performance improvement in identified KPI’s.

· Co-ordinate 'cross-group' capacity planning & footprint/asset utilization

· Ensure Appropriate Export controls & Trade Compliance requirements.

· Lead and manage the entire supply chain process.

· Ensure that the company's supply chain operations are efficient and cost-effective.

· Continuously improve the supply chain process through the implementation of new technologies and best practices

· Manage and coach the supply chain team members.

· Build sound working relations with the internal stakeholders.

· Ensure and identify potential cost savings at the Group level.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This individual will be responsible for the supervision of ~50 direct reports. This individual will carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning production flow; assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Skills:

· Solid track record in meeting substantial material cost reduction targets.

· Possess proven negotiation skills, and the ability to drive cross-functional continuous improvement and cost savings projects. Thorough knowledge of creating and administering supply agreements and other contracts. Creative, and adaptable to new situations.

· Gain and maintain a thorough understanding of Rivulis purchased material commodities.

· Exceptional customer service skills and experience. Working knowledge of ERP systems with experience using SAP is highly preferred.

· Able to utilize and update information in ERP System. High attention to detail and ability to balance multiple priorities simultaneously.

· Advanced level skills with Microsoft Office suite. Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

· Effective verbal, written, and presentation skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to fill in, assist, and perform other supply chain management roles as needed. High level of drive and commitment to business stakeholders combined with independence and ability to challenge.

· Ability to coordinate multiple group efforts within the company to achieve objectives.
