Job Details


We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Supply Chain Director to join our 'design and build' Aerospace team in West Corona. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in all Supply Chain functions and experience in the aerospace industry working to support a healthy supply chain that services both commercial and defense aerospace and aviation customers.


Responsibilities


  • Lead the S&OP/SIOP process to ensure the alignment of the demand and supply plans.
  • Align Supply Chain with the NPI process to ensure the successful launch of new products.
  • Manage the purchasing and planning functions to ensure the timely delivery of the products.
  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Support Lean/6S and Six Sigma methodologies to improve the quality and reduce the cost of the products.
  • Devise a global strategy for the sourcing process to ensure support for ongoing business growth
  • Manage the inventory levels to ensure the optimal balance between the service level and the cost.
  • Lead and manage the supply chain team to ensure the smooth operation of the supply chain process.


Education & Experience


  • 5+ years of People Management Experience, ideally in a Supply Chain function
  • SIOP or S&OP experience
  • 10+ years Supply Chain experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline, MBA preferred
