Supply Chain Associate Jobs

Summary of the Role:

This position works under minimum supervision assisting the Supply Chain Supervisor with material management, logistics and inventory control systems in support of manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and ensure complete, accurate and timely material movement documentation and reporting.
• Ensure all Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) guidelines are adhered to.
• Operate forklift, pallet jacks, and other equipment to move parts to proper locations and load and unload freight trucks as necessary.
• Visually monitor inventory levels and communicate low levels to buyers, schedulers, and others as necessary.
• Prepare products, spare parts, return parts, and other items for shipment following established procedures for packaging, crating, boxing, bundling, wrapping, strapping, and labeling.
• Manage research as necessary and / or requested.
• Pick parts and products from appropriate inventory locations in specified quantities as necessary to fill orders by following established procedures.
• Facilitate RMA requests in ERP system and data entry.
• Manage warranty information and warranty claims as requested and / or needed.
• Enter and track sales orders and RMA’s to schedules and timelines.
• Back up to facilitate the requisition of supplies for use in packaging relative to logistical operations.
• Maintain parlevel of all service parts.

Desired Skills, Abilities and Requirements:

• Proficient knowledge of warehouse data ERP systems and computer literate.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Must have a technical understanding and the ability to speak, read and understand technical terms, assembly, disassembly, and technical documentation such as assembly drawings, written instructions, and procedures with minimum supervision.
• Ability to operate forklift, hand truck, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment.
• Ability to work independently.
• Takes pride in work and wants to learn new skills.
• Demonstrate good judgement and sound decision-making skills at all times.
• Strong communication skills -written, verbal and listening.
• Must be able to read and speak English fluently.
• Team player with a customer centric focus.
• Ability to routinely lift or move heavy products (up to 70 pounds).
• Highly organized with strict attention to detail and sense of urgency.
• Proven warehouse, logistical, and inventory management experience.
• Must be able to use a standard variety of hand tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches, and power tools, etc.
• Must be able to work over-time which includes on-call weekend rotation.
