Duties And Responsibilities

Are you ready for an incredible opportunity? Clarifi Staffing Solutions is seeking an exceptional on-site School Nurse to apply for this amazing role.

As a School Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing care according to Individual Healthcare Plans developed by our certified school nurses. Your responsibilities will include administering medications to students as per healthcare provider orders, maintaining accurate student health records (including immunizations), conducting health assessments, providing first aid or necessary referrals, escorting medically fragile students with BSD transportation, assisting with diabetic care (including the administration of insulin and emergency medication), conducting vision and hearing screenings, and supporting other licensed nursing procedures as directed by the school nurse.

Responsibilities For School Nurse

• Facilitate referrals to pediatricians and other health specialists when necessary.
• Maintain accurate vaccination records for students.
• Conduct regular screenings to detect health problems in their early stages.
• Update students medical history with diligence.
• Provide essential healthcare to students in case of injury or acute illness.
• Educate students and staff on the importance of healthy habits, including nutrition and hygiene.
• Ensure compliance with national and local health laws, prioritizing the well-being of all.
• Ensure a safe school environment for children and staff, actively preventing communicable diseases.
• Develop comprehensive health plans for students with chronic illnesses and disabilities.

Requirements· Hold a Bachelors degree in nursing or a related field.

• This position requires on-site work; candidates must be willing to work on-site throughout the assignment.
• Be prepared to start immediately, making a difference right away
• Possess a current Washington State RN license.
