Summer School Nurse – Westchester Jobs

Perform other duties as assigned by management or supervisor.

Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, computer skills, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills.

Responsible for generating subcontracts/Purchase Orders and Change Orders.

Overseeing and coordinating meetings and schedules.

Generate and run reports in QuickBooks and MS office

Reconciliation of payments in QuickBooks (AP/AR)

Develop comprehensive health plans for students with chronic illnesses and disabilities.

Provide essential healthcare to students in case of injury or acute illness.

Educate students and staff on the importance of healthy habits, including nutrition and hygiene.

Conduct regular screenings to detect health problems in their early stages.

Maintain accurate vaccination records for students.

Update students medical history with diligence.

Management skills with experience supervising a team while providing excellent customer service.

EPA, HVAC certifiable status and general knowledge of OSHA safety rules and regulations.

Coordinate the “make ready” process to include inspections along with repairs and improvements necessary.

Availability to be “on-call” as needed responding to emergency repairs and also assists in daily work orders as needed.

Efficiently and effectively schedules service technicians/assistants, assuring that work orders and make-readies are completed correctly in a timely manner.

Attends and participates in training as required.

Outpatient or community-based clinic experience preferred

Previous experience in L&D or an OB/GYN practice as a Midwife or RN

Current New York State RN License (or willingness to obtain)

Registered in New York State for Advance Practice required

1+ years experience in a prior PR or Communications role

Exemplary verbal and written communications skills

Prior experience in fast paced environment working with tight deadline

Knowledge of Photoshop a plus

Works cross-functionally to develop and update new media coverage (ex: website coverage, new product development, etc)

Helps other team members with distribution of credentials for home games, as well league mandated media access

Rochester City School District – REMOTE

Possession of a NYS License as a Registered Nurse.

Graduation from a regionally accredited NYS Registered School of Nursing.

This is for a Summer Work position and is not considered a BOCES ESY position.

· Current CPR certification and computer skills are also necessary.

Maintain current pertinent health data for each student including NY State mandated immunization and communicable disease control requirements.

The nurse will act as advocate, liaison, and consultant on health-related issues for students, families, and school personnel.

Administer first aid, emergency care and preventive care to students and staff.

Find and assess student health needs, implementing services and evaluating plans of care to boost student learning and achieve optimum safety.

Act as liaison between home, school, and community providers for medical issues, discussing with administration when proper.
