The CNS is a highly visible position dedicated to the advancement of nursing practice and continuous improvement of patient care. The CNS will provide vascular access expertise and support to RNs caring for patients at the bedside. The CNS will also help drive practice changes throughout the organization. The CNS will ensure the use of national guidelines and evidence-based care to achieve the best possible outcomes for our patients.
This is a professional staff position, reporting directly to the Director of Professional Engagement and Nursing Excellence.
SCHEDULE
Day shifts, 40 hours per week. The CNS will split their time between the UW Medical Center-Montlake and UW Medical Center-Northwest campuses.
