Summer Internship - Book Publicist

Our publishing division is seeking a talented and dynamic summer intern who will focus on the promotion of our current and new books. You must have a background in public relations and/or marketing and have the ability to reach out to podcast producers, television program producers, and major patient support organizations to set up interviews for our authors and promote our books. A passion for promotion is a must. We will provide you with resources to do your job, but you will also be doing some research to obtain email addresses for contacts in the broadcast and healthcare industries. For the right candidate, this internship has the potential to turn into employment. The summer internship is unpaid, but you will gain much experience working with our nonprofit organization.
