Strategy Associate Jobs

Scope of Responsibilities:

• Report directly to and work closely with the CIO on Investment Strategy, Asset Allocation and Asset Management.
• Initiate and maintain sector, regional and thematic strategy coverage.
• Write regular market and strategy reports for both internal and external client base.
• Maintain and develop models and presentations as necessary for market and strategy analysis.
• Assist the CIO in all macro-economic analysis, financial market analysis, and Strategic and Tactical Asset Allocation decisions.

Qualifications:

• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to think and work independently when researching new investment ideas, valuation theories, and modelling techniques.
• Advanced Microsoft Office capabilities, especially Excel (VBA), PowerPoint, and Word.
• Experience with Bloomberg and integration with Excel.
• Python programming experience preferred.
• Ability to work as part of the team in completing the day-to-day responsibilities.
• Strong writing skills as writing strategy research reports is a key part of the job.

Experience:

• Experience outside of finance from strategy or management consulting will be considered.
• 4 years minimum experience in asset management, equity research, fixed income research, or investment strategy.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, sciences, or engineering preferred.
• MBA or master’s degree in a relevant subject a plus.

Language:

• Spanish or Portuguese a plus.
• English fluency with strong writing abilities.
